MARHAMCHURCH Community Shop has received a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Awards for All scheme, which will help the shop committee purchase equipment.

Cornwall Council approved the outline planning application to build the shop last February and a fundraising drive was launched as the community had to raise at least £20,000 towards the total estimated cost of £140,000 to build, fit out and stock the shop.
