CHILDREN from Bridgerule Primary School accompanied by their mums and dads, sang Christmas carols around the village, recently.

They gathered around the village Christmas tree opposite the Bridge Inn and sang 'We wish you a merry Christmas' to warm up their vocal chords. The group of about 25 started off in the direction of the Green returning through the village and back to the school where refreshments were being served. Ladies from FOBS (Friends of Bridgerule School) provided cups of hot chocolate and mince pies with Devon clotted cream on the top.

Two adults collected money from the villagers and all the money raised from both events will be divided between the church, chapel and school.
