CAMELFORD Methodist Church was flowing with vibrant produce and hymns by the town band, at the recent harvest festival.

The congregation was welcomed by Huw Huntley, which followed on with the Camelford Town Band playing traditional music and some harvest hymns. Pauline Kent was the guest soloist, and poetry readings were conducted by Kate Neil. A particularly poignant moment was a cornet solo by Emma Davey, who gave a touching rendition of Buster Strikes Back.

The service was followed by a harvest supper, which managed to raise £130 and will be put towards the purchase of a disabled lift for the chapel.
