FOURTEEN firefighters from Bude and Holsworthy tackled a vehicle fire and treated a casualty for smoke inhalation at Launcells on Sunday.
The vehicle, which was well alight on crews’ arrival at around 1.20pm, had been removed from a farm building, where it caught fire.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the car fire. Crews also used a thermal imaging camera inside the shed to monitor the building with a thermal imaging camera. The casualty suffering smoke inhalation was treated on scene by firefighters using oxygen.
