HOLSWORTHY Police are appealing for information after vegetables, including potatoes, carrots, onions and shallots, were dug up and stolen from various residences in Holsworthy.
There have been three different occasions where vegetables have been stolen from an allotment in the Cole's Mill Bridge area of Holsworthy. The incidents occurred between Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 22 (reference CH/09/216, CH/09/223, CH/09/241).
During the last theft, the offenders also caused criminal damage to a padlocked gate at the entrance to the allotments.
There have also been two thefts of vegetables from a garden in the Sanctuary Road area of Holsworthy. On these occasions, between Tuesday, June 23 (CH/09/229), and Monday, June 29 (CH/09/238), the offenders stole vegetables from the victim's back garden.
