NORTH Petherwin Parish Hall was buzzing with activity on Saturday, October 27 when the Women's Institute held a craft and demonstration exhibition.

The WI Oktoberfest had stalls, all locally sourced, that displayed a variety of wares, making shopping early for Christmas easy.

WI president, Susan Swannapool, demonstrated and held a mini workshop for 'Christmas cards with a difference.' Treasurer Claire Campbell, held a different mini workshop making hair accessories.

Members looked after the bric a brac, book, and produce stalls and also served hot soup and cakes that they had made.
