PEOPLE wishing to visit the Bude-Stratton Town Council website will soon be greeted with an updated, modern and colourful site.

Town clerk, Donna James, and the town council’s promotions and marketing officer, have been working on a new website for people to access minutes, agendas and any information they wish to acquire regarding the town council.

At this month’s full council meeting on February 2, Ms James presented the basis for the new website to the town councillors present.

She explained how the layout for the website had been agreed at the end of last year, after approximately two years of asking for it.

The pages and content are due to be added within the next few weeks, creating a more accessible way for people to find out what they need to know from the council.

In addition, the Bude Castle’s heritage centre website is also due an update, so people can expect to see a more modern and easier way to visit the Castle’s website in the coming weeks.
