DESPITE the inclement weather, a brave few donned their winter coats and made their way to Holsworthy for the late night shopping event on Wednesday, December 14.

Father Christmas was visited by a number of primary school age children in his grotto located in NatWest bank, courtesy of Holsworthy Lions.

Unfortunately numbers were down on previous years and the primary school choir withdrew on Wednesday afternoon due to the weather, but this didn't stop those who attended from enjoying the festivities.

In the Square some stallholders from the pannier market were joined by others selling Christmas gifts to raise funds for local organisations and charities. In the shelter of the Memorial Hall a large number of stalls offered quality goods made by local craftsmen and women.
