IN answer to  David Harland's letter headed Greedy Bankers and in particular his contention that weak politicians had a hand in this. His comment is correct but for the wrong reason.

The weak politicians are controlled by about 50 unelected bankers – see the House of Commons debate on November 20 last.

If you doubt my credibility check out the fact that the City of London  is not part of the UK. Surprised?

Then check out the role of the Remembrancer who sits behind the Speaker when Parliament is sitting.

You will find that his duty is to prevent Parliament passing any law that affects the City of London.

If you do this, you hopefully will be curious enough to research further to find that the City of London is a private company run by bankers who are licensed by the government to print our money.

That is, you or the government ask for a loan. The banks  create the money out of thin air then charge you or the government interest on it.

This sounds unbelievable because you readers, and probably David Harland, have been conditioned to accept a tale as unbelievable as Father Christmas. This country will not change unless you educate yourselves.
