RESIDENTS in Sedbury and Tutshill are on alert after two thefts happened a day apart.
Two drills and three batteries were stolen from a red LDV Maxus van parked on a driveway just off Sedbury Lane some time between 4pm on Tuesday, May 5 and 8am on Wednesday, May 6.
The following day (Thursday, May 7) a rear passenger window of a silver Land Rover Discovery parked near a field in Mopla Road, Tutshill, was smashed between 9.30am and 10.15am.
They made off with a brown leather bag with a shoulder strap containing a wallet, bank cards and a cheque book.

Anyone with information about either of these offences should call 101 and quote incident 111 of May 6 (Sedbury Lane theft) or 138 of May 7 (Mopla Road theft).
