STAFF at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Bude recently celebrated giving advice to the local community for 20 years.

When the two offices were established in 1989 we were known as Bude, Holsworthy and District CAB, said Clare Hicks, Deputy Services Manager for Bude.

Recently we merged with other bureaux to become part of a much bigger organisation Torridge, Mid-Devon and Bude CAB. But we are still here in Bude and Holsworthy, giving advice on a wide range of subjects, and being part of a larger CAB gives us a much stronger foundation.

All of the generalist advisers, some of the admin and IT staff, and all the Trustee Board members give their time voluntarily to the CAB. It is thanks to them all that we can provide our service to our community.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Clare or Liz on the admin phone line 01288 354699, or visit the website: http://www.cab-bideford.co.uk">www.cab-bideford.co.uk for more details.
