THE Bude Canal and Harbour Society has recently presented a framed photograph of the canal and sea lock to Jill White, expressing thanks and recognition for her contribution to the society as a trustee.

The society’s annual meeting was held at the Castle Heritage Centre in Bude on Sunday, February 26. Chairman, Chris Jewell, presented Jill with the photograph.

The photo was taken on August 27, 2016, during the arrival of the lifeboat for the RNLI weekend.
