ST BREWARD Primary School recently held a true community event, marking the Queen’s 90th birthday.

With the good weather beating down on an estimated 200 people, the school field was packed with members of the local community enjoying the range of fun activities on offer.

Steve Flanders provided live music, keeping people entertained all day, and a bar was managed by JB Bars.

As well as this, activities for all ages, including circus skills, bouncy castles and a disco were also available, following a super performance from the St Breward Silver Band.

Lee Bacchus, St Breward Primary School headteacher, said: “The day was a great success, and all who attended seemed to enjoy the occasion.

“Special thanks must go to all members of the community who helped, supported and attended, but in particular to Jo Best, who spent many hours organising the event on behalf of the school.”
