A former YTS Trainee celebrated a career milestone as colleagues toasted her 20th Anniversary with Holsworthy based

architects, Trewin Design Partnership.

Liz Higgins joined Trewin Design Partnership in July 1989, as a fresh faced beginner on the National Youth Training Scheme.

In recognition of her achievement, Liz, who is now Office Manager of the firm, was presented a prestigious gift during a luncheon.

Commenting on her days at Trewin Design Partnership she said "I've had a terrific time at Trewin Design Partnership and over the past 20 years I have worked on the administrations side from the early days as very much the 'office junior' to today where I manage a very busy office with over 20 staff. Since joining the firm, I have seen it grow from a small local practice to one of the leading architectural firms in the South West, during which time it has picked up numerous Design Awards at Regional and National level". Liz has also recently attended a Design Award Ceremony, in which the firm won the 'Best New Project' for a scheme for Affordable Housing on the Isles of Scilly.

Liz, a keen runner from Week St Mary also celebrated her achievement with the news that she had been selected for next years London Marathon.
