TRIBUTES have been paid to a man who died following a collision on the A388, at Dutson, near Launceston.

The incident took place just after midnight on Sunday, November 13, when a Volvo estate collided with a wall by the Old Toll House, fatally injuring one man.

The man has been named as Dominic Waters, aged 32 from St Giles on the Heath.

He was a father and an ex-serviceman, and served with the Lancashire Fusiliers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His family paid the following tribute: “Dom was very laid back, a gentle giant. Dom will leave a huge gap in the lives of all who knew him and loved him. He was caring and kind and always made people laugh.

“He was a loving daddy and hero to Lily and Emily, beautiful son to Annette and Dave and loving brother to Terri and half-brother Billy.”

Collision investigators are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help police enquiries.
