Trevor Tucker of Whitstone, has spent the last four months recycling wood for charity, after taking all the nails out, he took it up to the collective sale at Holsworthy Market on the first weekend of September, October and November, raising £299. He also sold some at home, bringing the total to £443. To add to the fundraising events, Trevor held a coffee morning and grand draw at Whitstone Parish Hall, which raised a further £157. Therefore, from all of the fundraising activities Trevor has raised a grand total of £600 for the charity Children's Hospice South West. Trevor has expressed thanks to Kivells auctioneers and all those who bought draw tickets and helped in anyway. He hopes to see you all next year at his plant sale. Trevor's fundraising has now reached £16,040 well on the way to his target of £20,000.
