A NIGH on full house, a wonderful choir, two talented young ladies and a chairman of great repute were the recipe for a memorable occasion at Tregadillett Community Hall on Saturday, December 3.

Performing was Liskerret Male Voice Choir, and its 40-strong membership filled the church and hall with songs of many variations.

Under musical director Roy Wilton and accompanist Diane Beckett songs ranged from theatre show pieces, to spirituals and other traditional male voice choir items — all of which were well received.

Of special note were two performances; 'The Voice of The Child', with its vocal parts and harmonies and; 'The Working Man', which had been arranged by the musical director himself.

Supporting the choir were Lisa Moore and Sarah Aunger, attractively dressed in Christmas costumes, who sang four items — some of which were unaccompanied.

As regular performers at Tregadillett they are always welcomed and appreciated. Chairman Peter Parsons, with his usual unique style, kept everyone's attention mixing information and anecdotes in a way only he could.
