THINK of 'Treasures of the Earth' and what comes to mind? Coal, stone, precious gems perhaps?

When this challenge faced flower arrangers at St Teath Church, the village pre-school florists came up with a novel idea for their flower festival arrangement — a wormery created in a tank and topped with strawberry plants.

This unique idea fascinated the many visitors to the three day festival, who admired the 23 arrangements, based on 'treasures' including clay, oil and diamonds.
