FIREFIGHTERS from Bude Community Fire Station attended a van fire at around 6.15am on the A39 Bude to Kilkhampton road last week.
Upon arrival to the incident on Wednesday, August 24, at Tiscott Wood, Kilkhampton, crews found a transit van had left the road into a small wooded area.
There were no occupants trapped or injured.
The van was well alight and crews used two breathing apparatus and two hosereels to extinguish the fire.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
Police said while the fire is not being treated as suspcious, they were looking to trace the owner of the vehicle, who was not at the scene of the incident.
