The weather certainly did not dampen the

spirits of the thirty four tractor drivers who set out from Pennant Farm, St Endellion on Sunday morning, March 8, to raise funds for the Children's Hospice South West Precious Lives Appeal. The

convoy of tractors, led by one of the event organisers Ken Finnemore on his 1950 TE20 Ferguson, left St Endellion taking on route local villages including Port Isaac, St Teath and Trewalder. The drivers took a well earned lunch stop at Juliots Well, Lanteglos before making their way back through Delabole, finishing at Pennant Farm. Gareth Dawe from Pennant also helped organise the many tractors which attended. To help boost the funds, Mr Fowley, the giant Leonberger from Bodmin, went along to give his support to the tractor road run dressed in his wellington boots and bowler hat. The two year old dog has raised a staggering £42,500 in the past year towards the appeal. Ken and Gareth were very pleased with all the

support they received on route which managed to raise £600.
