During the partnership, TSB Bude organised numerous fundraising events such as cake sales, a guess the baby competition and a Christmas raffle. The money raised will go towards supporting local people who are affected by memory loss with meaningful activities.
Melanie Dymond, bank manager at TSB Bude, said: “Our Local Charity Partnership programme is all about working in partnership to help support the local causes that are the lifeblood of many communities across Britain.
“It’s been fantastic to support Bude Memory Café, which is close to our hearts here in Bude, and everyone working here has found our partnership really rewarding.
“As our partnership with Bude Memory Café comes to an end, I’d like to wish them the very best for the future, and as one partnership ends, another begins, and I am delighted to welcome Little Bridge House, which provides hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West, as our new charity partner for the next 12 months.”
Kim Tresidder, chairperson of Bude Memory Café, added: “It’s been great to work in partnership with TSB. The support has had a really positive impact on our charity and the work we do here in Bude. The £570 we’ve raised rogether is being used to help support local people with our regular meetings and outings.”
