MORE than 160 Christians of various denominations, including many young people, assembled in the Square for the annual Holsworthy Good Friday Procession of Witness on the morning of Friday, March 29, writes Christine Williams.
After prayers said by Charles Cornish and an explanation of the meaning of Good Friday by Rev John Henry, the first verse of 'When I Survey The Wondrous Cross' was sung and the procession set off, led by the town band playing familiar Easter hymns.
