CAMELFORD Town Council is getting ready to host the town’s Winter Festival, with the Christmas lights switch-on, fireworks and the announcement of the photography competition winner all set to wow crowds.
The event on Saturday, November 25 will see Fisherman’s Friend member, John Cleave, switching the lights on at 7pm, with the annual fireworks display following at 7.30pm.
The winner of the photography competition, in partnership with Sir James Smith’s School, will also be announced. Students have been taking photographs of Camelford over the summer, which will be used for marketing purposes. The exhibition opens at 6pm in the Old Bank and winners will be announced at 6.45pm.
