AN EVENT was held in Launceston Town Square on Saturday, October 19, to present three new short films which have been made about the town, and which have been uploaded to various websites to help promote the town to visitors and locals alike.

All were invited to attend and see the films for themselves, and to chat to those involved in their making.

The films were shown on a big screen at the launch event, and refreshments were provided throughout the day by the Chamber of Commerce. Market stalls were set up by those involved in the films and the chamber trialled the first pop-up cafe in the Square and this proved to be very popular.
