wholesome community fun was the order of the week in Camelford, as the town got together for not only a day of fun, but a whole week.
The Camelford Fun Week saw residents young, old and forever 21 partake in a range of different activities put on in the town as part of the fun week.
Across the annual fun week, organised by Camelford Town Council, residents were spoiled for choice with things to do.
Events put on across the week included the ubiquitous pastime of bingo, a bird walk with Steve Bond, and a dog show.
There was also an opportunity for ‘clowning around’, thanks to a free circus skills workshop held on Enfield Park with Camel Circus Jam.
On the subject of jam, there was also an opportunity to join Cllr Robert Rotchell, the Mayor of Camelford for an afternoon’s tea party in aid of charity.
Children were also offered the opportunity to spend time in the company of the Mayor, with a Mayor’s storytime put on at the local library, an event that was followed by a Lego competition.
Underpinning the fact this was a week of events with something for everyone, other events laid on for the community included a family fun run, a music in the park event, a competition for skaters, bmx riders and scooters, a teddy bear’s picnic, a ‘slip and slide with the Allans’ and a tug of war where the strongest of the community were pitted against one another.
If all that wasn’t enough, there was also a rubber duck race, participated in good spirits across a fun week.
