A PRESS officer could be appointed to Holsworthy Town Council in attempts to promote town events.
Cllr Pam Johns told councillors at the meeting on Wednesday, May 2, that she was "fed up" of reading the continental market had not been advertised properly.
Despite there being no money set aside in the council's budget, she questioned whether left over funds from the odd-job person could go towards employing a part-time press officer who could help with promoting key events.
