CAMELFORD Town Band sprung into the summer season with two fund raising events.

The band is currently raising funds to purchase a trailer to transport equipment to and from engagements.

Camelford Town Band is aiming to raise £3,000. Its first event was a fete in Camelford on Saturday, May 11.

Locals turned out in abundance to support the event, enjoying a selection of local produce on the barbecue, refreshments and cake stall.
