Next Monday, April 20 representatives of a large number of organisations will be in Holsworthy Memorial Hall to give advice and help on a wide range of public services.
This will be one of a series of outreach surgeries, similar to those run by doctors and vets, which Torridge District Council is holding under the title 'Torridge Connect' with the aim of giving people and businesses easier access to a variety of services.
Already 19 organisations such as the CAB, Job Centre Plus, the Pensions Service, Devon Pound, the police, fire and rescue, South West Water, the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, TorrAGE, and Torridge Voluntary Services, have agreed to attend plus trained advisors who can deal with any council related enquiry.
The meeting will run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm and offers a unique opportunity to people from the Holsworthy area.
