Well established in Bideford and Torrington, TorrAGE is now expanding, by setting up a number of 'hubs' one of which is Holsworthy.

Linda Bealey, of TorrAGE Neighbourhood Links, is urgently seeking volunteers in Holsworthy, with the aim of improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of older people in the town.

Befrienders are needed who can offer support and friendship to lonely individuals and practically minded volunteers are being sought to help with day to day routines such as shopping, prescription collecting and light household tasks.

Administrative skills are desperately needed to help with paperwork too. Anyone who can help is asked to phone 01805 625614.
