THE Tintagel Arms Hotel has opened its new 'Lyverva Bar' (Cornish for library) for people to go along and enjoy. The hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment, and owners Lee and Sharon Sharpe describe it as "a cosy place to meet friends, relax by a big log fire on comfy sofas and read a book. So many libraries have closed so we felt we could offer this service to the village." Books can be borrowed and taken away to read, all free of charge. Over 200 have been donated to the bar, and Lee and Sharon welcome any unwanted ones that could added to extend the service further. If you have any books to donate, please contact the hotel on 01840 770780.
