MORE than £500 was raised at Maunders in Launceston on June 6 for Children’s Hospice South West as part of Pam Miner’s sponsorship raising for the 3 Peaks Challenge, which she is taking on in aid of the charity.
During the day there was a plant sale, cake sale and raffle, all of which were well supported. A total of £584.62 was raised.
There are various ways to support the charity, which needs to raise over £3-million a year to fund its Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell.
Whether trekking abroad, abseiling, running, walking, cycling, cake making or charity shop bargain hunting, there are so many ways to support this vital charity.
