THIS year's Bude Lifeboat Weekend (Friday to Monday) was a triumph of wonderful events.
In typical Bude sunshine the thousands of people who throng to Lifeboat Day each year were treated to an amazing day.
Bude Lifeboat Station Chairman Paul Finn said: "We try to ensure that this event can be enjoyed by anyone in Bude. You don't have to be rich to come to Lifeboat Day. We know that if you take your children and grandchildren to a day out it can be expensive but on Lifeboat Day you could enjoy all the events without it costing you a penny. It is a very important day for the town and our lifeboat station."
