Donald and Eileen Priest recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary surrounded by their family. The couple were married at Holsworthy Parish Church by Rev Royal on April 28, 1949. Donald came from Thornbury and Eileen from Chasty. They farmed at Lashbrook, Thornbury and have two daughters and five granddaughters. Mr and Mrs Priest moved into Holsworthy eight years ago.
