THERE has recently been a spate of thefts from

allotments and gardens in the Stratton area, with

various amounts of

compost being stolen.

Bude Police have asked that if anyone saw

anything on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, to please contact PCSO Lester Marland at Bude Police on 08452 777444, quoting log numbers BU/09/129 and BU/09/133.

A spokesman said: "Anyone who owns an allotment, please be aware and increase security."
