ENDELIENTA is delighted to welcome back audience favourites the Zoltan Ensemble to St Endellion Church, who will bring a delightful concert to brighten up a winter afternoon.
Lowri Porter, Nancy Johnson and Rosalind Gladstone are the trio of members in this wonderful ensemble.
Roz and Lowri met at the 2011 St Endellion Summer Festival. It was here, in an evironment that brings musicians together to rehearse and play music for the love of it, that the Zoltan Ensemble (pictured) began to take shape.
Two years later, the duo were joined by Nancy, another passionate Endellionite, for their first string concert performing the Goldberg Variations in a magical performance in St Kew church, making the ensemble a trio.
For this concert, they will be joined by violist Rose Redgrave, and violinist David Chadwick, as they perform Brahm’s G major string quintet, following on from their performance last year.
Again, as last year, they will pair this up with a Mozart quintet, this time his 2nd in C minor.
The concert promises to be a beautiful ending to Endelienta’s 2016 programme.
The event is being held on?Sunday, December 4 at 3pm.
Tickets are £10, and is free for accompanied under 16’s. To book, visit www.endelienta.org.uk, call 07787 944 935 or email [email protected]
