THE Strand, Bude was shut down on Wednesday, June 18, only a matter of days after the grand opening of the first development phase 'Sands Bar'. After lying dormant for five years, owner Shaun Kelly, took on the mammoth task of fully refurbishing 'The Strand,' working with architectural and interior design specialists to create a light, airy, comfortable and contemporary environment to cater for all ages and occasions.
