THE 'Post' charity gala has been rescheduled. Following the tragic news about the Fisherman's Friends losses, the annual event, due to be held last Friday (February 15) in aid of Children Hospice South West (CHSW), was cancelled out of a mark of respect.
The Fisherman's Friends were to perform at the gala, which, last year, raised £4,000.
The 'Post' received an overwhelming amount of support from members of the public who had purchased tickets for the event, many offering donations. However, the 'Post' is pleased to announce that the gala has been rescheduled for Friday, March 22.
Magician, Mr Eerius, has confirmed he will be performing and more acts are set to be announced in the near future. Keep informed via the 'Post'.
Our apologies to anyone that ventured to Penstowe last Friday, unaware that the event had been cancelled. We hope you will join us at the gala in March.
