THE challenge of walking 20 feet across hot coals, with temperatures reaching around 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, comes to Camelford at an MS Society Firewalk.
Twenty people have signed up to the event so far, all to raise money for the MS Society and more places are still available.
The challenge takes place on Saturday, December 7 and the charity is looking for more people to take it on. It is being held at the Bowood Park Hotel and Golf Club in Lanteglos and registration is £25 per person.
The walkers are asked to raise a minimum of £125 sponsorship money to support people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
The event starts at 5pm and the firewalking will begin at 7.30pm after a two-hour training session to prepare people for the walk.
