SUMMER in North Cornwall is upon us once again, and with it, the biggest, friendliest festival in the North Cornish neighbourhood; that's right, Leopallooza looms once more, this year taking place from August 2 — 4 upon its home grounds, 'The Wyldes', near Week St Mary.
The line up
The line up this year is the most impressive to date, with the mighty 'Bastille' returning to the festival (they played the second stage last year) as titans of the current UK pop music scene. Their recent performances (such as their highly acclaimed appearance at the Glastonbury Festival) have drawn massive crowds, with their two UK tours selling out in just days.
Also appearing this year are festival favourites 'Man Like Me', known for their highly vivacious live performances, and the UK soul singer Jacob Banks, fresh from supporting Emeli Sandé on her recent tour.
Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour
Constantly evolving year on year, 2013 sees Leopallooza as the host to the only UK stop on the Freeride Mountain Bike (FMB) World Tour.
The tour stops in many other countries including Canada, the USA, Sweden, Hungary and Spain.
Now, North Cornwall has become the latest location for this exciting event, and the custom-built and extremely frightening track, complete with huge ramps and towering drop-ins, is the only place the tour will land in this country.
Expect some of the best freestyle mountain bikers in the world to descend on Bude this August.
