THE trustees of The George Appeal are pleased to announce that the appeal has, this week, reached £35,000 towards the purchase of an ultra sound scanning machine for the antenatal unit at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.

Fundraising has been steady over the past 11 months raising £10,000 so far this year with two events planned before Christmas.

North Cornwall MP, Dan Rogerson is opening the Christmas Fayre at Central Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, November 29 and the annual quiz night will be held at the football club on Friday, December 5.
