I AM THRILLED having read the Rev David Flanders' letter regarding his non-attendance of Camelford's 'Halloween Carnival' on religious grounds and the danger of us being drawn into 'a very dangerous and dark world' by watching Harry Potter films.

This continued disassociation from all the modern world and those who share it, is the reason why in no time at all, with the help of like-minded clergy and through their own sanctitude, the Church will become obsolete.

This will far more

importantly release land and properties throughout the country, which surely, in

accordance with Christian teachings, should help the less privileged and the deprived.

It's taken long enough but maybe affordable housing is finally on its way.
