A LEA resident is fuming since fly-tippers have been using a beauty spot near Bailey Lane End to dump rubbish for the last two weeks.

The resident, who didn't wish to be named, told the Review: "The first week there was what looked like the inside trim of a car door, which was cleared away, only to be replaced a week later with a divan bed.

"I think it's appalling somebody has gone out of their way to load a van and unload it in the woods – why not take it to the tip at Ross? I hope the offender/s is caught and prosecuted."

The spate of fly-tipping is the latest of a growing list of cases reported across the Forest in the last month.

Anybody who comes across small-scale fly-tipping should call 01594 810000 and for large-scale call the Environment Agency on 0800 807060.
