Dear Editor,

Due to my wife's continued illness it had become necessary for me to try to co-ordinate five separate hospital appointments to three different hospitals, two at Hereford and three at Gloucester.

I could cope with Hereford, but Gloucester filled me with dread – such difficulties with the traffic and parking. Fortunately I remembered the RVS, formerly the RWVS, and contacted them at their Broad Street office.

They could not have been more sympathetic and helpful. The appointments were made and the drivers allocated. They arrived punctually, took us to the Gloucester Hospital, waited while my wife was seen, and brought us home – no trouble with the traffic or parking.

They were all, organisers and drivers, delightful people, and we feel that we have made some new friends.
