ROBERT Cole's (Agricultural Engineers) open day, held at its recently extended premises on the Holsworthy Industrial Estate, was well supported by visitors and suppliers alike.

As well as the staff, representatives from various suppliers were on hand to advise and help customers as they arrived.

Robert Cole drew the winning tickets for the free prize draw at the end of the evening and the prizes donated by the attending suppliers ranged from a bottle of whisky to a ride on a John Deere Tractor.

The Ride and Drive John Deere tractor with Direct Drive proved most popular, allowing people to experience the new transmission which "uses F1 technology in a tractor to provide smooth shifts between gears without a break in power transmission."
