THE man who made a bomb threat against Launceston's Tesco store — and other stores in the supermarket company's chain — to try to obtain £1-million has been sent to prison for six years. Launceston's Tesco store in Tavistock Road was one of 14 stores which formed part of the major security scare. A letter warning that there was to be a bomb attack was sent to a regional newspaper.
