A TESCO foods tore has been approved for Holsworthy.

Members of Torridge District Council's Planning Committee unanimously agreed development of a food store, associated access arrangements, parking, landscaping and retaining structures, at its meeting last Thursday (August 2).

The store will be located on the current cattle market site at Underlane.

It is planned for the Tesco development to commence once the new livestock market and agri-business centre has been built on land adjacent to the A388 South Arscott, Holsworthy Beacon. This is expected to be completed by December 2013.
