A TEENAGER has been named as the driver of car who died at the scene of a crash on the A483 at Llananno.

Lydia Marie Lewis, who was 19, had been driving a black Vauxhall Corsa which was involved in the single vehicle collision near the Radnorshire village at 10pm on Wednesday, June 3. There was no-one else in the car.

Ms Lewis, lived at nearby Llanbadarn Fynnydd.

A statement released by her family said: "Lydia Marie Lewis - tragically taken away on 3rd of June 2015 aged only 19 yrs. Beautiful daughter to Glyn and Julie, sister and soulmate to Heidi, truelove to Shane. Will truly be missed by all."

Dyfed Powys Police said specialist officers have conducted a detailed examination of the scene.

A spokeswoman said: "The cause of the collision is unknown at this time and enquiries are ongoing.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has any information is asked to contact Sergeant Chris Neve in the Roads Policing Unit by calling 101."
