IF YOU are worried about cooking the Christmas dinner this year, spare a thought for the St Teath Village Lunch team who cooked a traditional festive meal for a hall full of people — and then did it all again the following week.

When demand for tickets to the lunch became too great for the St Teath Church Hall to accommodate everyone, the team decided to run a second event to avoid disappointment.

However, many customers enjoyed themselves so much that they chose to come to both, with around 250 meals prepared and served over the two weeks.
