A CHEQUE for £2,500 was donated to Children's Hospice South West by Jo Colwill, of Cowslip Workshops, near Launceston, recently.
Jo, in celebration of the launch of her first book Cushions and Quilts, organised a 'Mad Hatter's tea party', where friends and teachers set up stalls, including craft items, second hand fabrics and books and more.
Lavinia Archer, representative of CHSW, accepted the cheque at the workshops.
