A SUCCESSFUL soup and sweet event was held in Camelford last week.

Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Camelford provided a variety of home-made soups and sweets, with all proceeds supporting the president's chosen charity, the Children's Hospice South West.

More than £440 was raised for the charity. The club also received food donations from Dairy Crest and Ambrosia, which were sold at the well-supported event.
